MAX Solutions’ employment division, MAX Employment, is one of Australia’s largest providers of government employment services from more than 130 locations around the country. The introduction of the Australian Government’s jobactive program along with the new Work for the Dole system from 1 July signaled significant change for job seekers, employers, the MAX Employment business and its 1700-strong workforce.
Thought Bubble was engaged as the transition change manager to support the organisation’s key transformation projects and prepare internal team members for change. The appointment involved development and delivery of a multi-channel internal communications program commencing with stakeholder consultation, a project plan and roadmap, development of key message toolkits, Q & As / FAQs, articles, project updates and fact sheets. An important component of the early-planning strategy was the dissemination of a weekly Survey Monkey questionnaire (titled ‘Max Monitor’) to identify internal issues, channel preferences and hot topics.
The findings informed key messages, creative look and feel and other communications using a mix of digital (video) and print platforms, and face to face delivery. Surveys were also conducted at key milestone dates to monitor progress and to gauge employee sentiment. Survey feedback in particular around the Max Monitor survey initiative and resulting Your Voice EDM content was extremely positive, with the communication piece now used for ongoing employee communications.
