Our Anzacs – stories and remembrance
The Queensland Government’s Anzac Centenary program (2014-2018) is of special significance to our state. It marks 100 years since our nation’s involvement in the First World War, and encompasses all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations in which Australians have been involved. The program honours the service and dedication of our servicemen and servicewomen through events, exhibitions, re-enactments and legacy projects—giving all Queenslanders the opportunity to reflect upon and learn more about our history, and those who made the supreme sacrifice.
Thought Bubble was commissioned to write Salute, a publication that captures major commemorative events of the past 18 months through a collection of stories showcasing highlights of Queensland’s Anzac Centenary commemorative program. Thought Bubble devised the content framework, developed story angles and key messages, conducted interviews, sourced images and wrote all the stories.
Content covers major events, legacy projects, community grants projects and government initiatives.
